...I should be setting foot at the Roosevelt Hotel. Having just finished mowing the lawn with the temp in the 40s, NOLA's muggy heat sounds pretty tempting.

Not sure how much extra-curricular activity I'll be able to do while I'm there. I've got a fair amount of school work plus my book I still need to get done. But I'll make some time, I'm sure.

Also going to be bringing my mic: I'd like to do a few interviews and capture a sense of Groovy/Grails/Griffon/Gradle/Gretcetra/Gretcetera and put up a podcast.  If you've got something you'd like to tell EnfranchisedMind or the Groovy/Grails community in general, be sure to grab me.

The plan is to take cell phone snapshots, maybe a bit of video (if I can get my hand to be still), do some live-blogging, and generally keep in contact through this medium.
